Atelier Idrissi

Portfolio

Work, completed and in progress.

A selection of projects across Morocco — each one beginning with the site and the light it receives, and ending in a building that holds both quietly.

CompletedPrivate Residence

Villa Ifrah

Fès, Morocco · 2022

01

A family residence composed around a central courtyard. Board-formed concrete and pale travertine hold the heat of the day, while deep openings frame the garden and slow the light to a crawl.

CompletedStudio & Workplace

Atelier Nord

Rabat, Morocco · 2021

02

A working studio carved from a single volume of board-formed concrete. Tall, slender slots of light cut the facade; inside, a long timber table runs the length of the room beneath a high clerestory.

Maison Cèdre

Ifrane, Morocco · 2024

03

A low cabin in the cedar forest, stained dark to recede among the trunks. Glass walls open the interior to the trees; a single bench holds the first light of morning.

CompletedGarden Pavilion

Pavillon d'Olivier

Marrakech, Morocco · 2023

04

A pavilion of thin steel and glass set within a walled garden. A still pool mirrors a single olive tree; the roof floats above slender columns, casting one precise line of shadow.

Maison Atlantique

Essaouira, Morocco · 2024

05

White volumes step down the hill toward the Atlantic. Openings are cut to the sea, framing the horizon over water; interiors stay bare, letting the view do the work.
